there have been 65 U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq. Fireworks
exploded, while being unloaded from truck, in Bonita Springs,
Florida - killed 4, injured 2. Israel pulls out of Bethlehem,
leaves security up to Palestinian police. U.S. troops to Liberia?

In Kilgore, TX, a series of explosions rocked fireworks warehouse;
3 killed, several injured; some nearby homes were damaged. In
morter & sniping incidents in Iraq, one U.S. troop was killed, ten
were wounded. U.S. unemployment figure goes up to 6.4% - a "nine
year high". Maybe, 1,000 U.S. troops to Liberia.

Bush left for African tour; peddles $3 billion/year aid package;
stops 1st in Senegal. Military team leaves for Liberia, to assess
situation for deployment of U.S. troops. Howard Dean is in news,
as contender for president; has raised more money than other demos.

In Meridian, Miss., factory worker at Lockheed Martin plant, kills
5, self. Second Saddam Hussein audio tape emerges, urges "covert"
action against U.S. troops. U.S. offers $2,500 reward for info on
insurgency in Iraq. Bush visits S Africa; Nelson Mandela refuses
to see him. The Dow has been seemingly hanging around 9,200.

Due to keeping troop strength up, U.S. cost estimate for military
in Iraq, nearly doubles to $3.9 billion/month. British upper
officials are said to "no longer believe weapons of mass
destruction will be found in Iraq". Storms cause flooding in areas
of Indiana and Ohio.

for U.S. commercial flights. Claudette lurks, in Gulf of Mexico.

Shiite muslims criticize Iraq's governmental council as being
illegitimate and un-elected. Liberian rebel said "the presence of
American troops with arms, is sufficient and would signal an end to
the war." Bush says U.S. is working overtime to prove Saddam
Hussein was developing weapons of mass destruction.

Claudette plows into Texas, with 90 mph winds; hits a few miles S
of Galveston, kills 2, heads W. One U.S. troop was killed in road
truck bomb incident in Iraq. NASA said could have shuttles ready
for space flight, in six to nine months. Sen Ted Kennedy said U.S.
troops in Iraq are "police officers in a shooting gallery", due to
"idealogical pride" of the Bush people.

mass destruction capabilities. U.S. combat death toll numbers 147,

the uranium for Iraq story was "highly dubious". One U.S. troop
was shot & killed, while guarding bank in Baghdad. British expert
on Iraq weapons of mass destruction, was found dead. LA Lakers NBA
star, Kobe Bryant, was charged with sexual assault, in Colorado.

Two U.S. troops were killed in an ambush in N Iraq. 10,000 Shiite
muslims demonstrated against Iraq gov council, in S Baghdad. Some
U.S. intelligence officials said they had concluded last fall, that
there was no current Iraq nuclear program; that the evidence, from
the military and CIA, was too weak to figure otherwise.

One U.S. troop and Iraqi interpreter were killed in action in N
Baghdad. U.S. sent 41 marines to Liberia, to help guard embassy;
rebels have sucessfully pushed back government troops, are firing
mortar rounds into capital city. Wash Post reporter says demos do
not have real front runner, for the 04 presidential contest.

One U.S. troop was killed, one wounded, in ambush N of Baghdad.
In Monrovia, the capital city of Liberia, in rain storm, using
HH-60 Pave Hawk heliocopters, U.S. marines evacuated about 23
foreign aid workers, journalists from the U.S. embassy. Mortor
shelling of Monrovia killed more than 90 civilians, wounded more
than 360. Currently, it does not appear that Bush will do anything
for the people of Liberia.

Two U.S. troops were killed, eight wounded, in 2 ambushes in Iraq.
The 2 sons of Saddam Hussein were killed in skirmish in Mosul, in N
Iraq. Jessica Lynch, ex-POW, returned to home town, was celebrated
with parade, etc. Steve Hadley, deputy national security advisor,
confessed to being cause of "African uranium for Iraq" statement in
Bush's January state of union address.

Three U.S. troops were killed, when convoy was attacked in N Iraq.
New York City council person, J. Davis, was shot and killed in
city hall's chambers balcony, by poltical rival. Calif. secretary
of of state announced there would be recall vote for governor,
after petition signitures were verified.

Congressional investigation report on 9/11, was released,
criticized FBI, CIA for failing to heed repeated warnings. Recall
election for governor of Califoria, was set for Oct 7th. VP Chaney
defended decision to go to war against Iraq, in speech. Rebels
continued shelling of Monrovia, Liberia - killing eleven civilians.

Bush sent 3 ships to be off coast of Liberia; ships contain unit of
2,200 U.S. marines, who are to help peacekeepers to be established;
peacekeepers will arrive in about a week. Wild fires have burned
some 14,00 acres of Glacier National Park. In raid in N central
Iraq, U.S. troops capture several of Hussien's personal bodyguards.

Grenade attack, on a patrol in Baghdad, killed one U.S. troop,
wounded three. U.S. troops raid three farmhouses, in search for
Saddam Hussein, in N Iraq. Around 1,000 veterns honor the 50th
anniversary of armistice that ended the fighting in the Korean War.

martyrs. U.S. federal officials warn of possible al Qaida attack
on U.S airlines, but keep national alert status on "yellow". Bush
meets with Israeli P.M., Sharon; rejects Saudi Arabian request to
declassify 28 page section of 850 page, 9/11 congressional report.

Bush holds news conference in white house rose garden; says takes
responsibility for everything says; says all was okay both in
"african uranium for Iraq" state of union statement, and the
assumptions concerning Iraqi weapons of mass destruction. One U.S
troop was killed, two wounded, NE of Baghdad, in Iraq, in small
arms fire action. Iraq is now producing 1.3 million barrels of oil
per day; before the war, was producing 2.5 million barrels per day.

since June 14th, is aired - says to continue guerilla war against
