Christmas shopping, over weekend, was reported to be a good
percentage more than last year's; indicates not a bad shopping
season this year - will have to see. Senator Kerry announced will
be running for president in 2004.

Bush says Iraq weapons inspections are not going well enough -
weapons inspections are really doing ok. Word is that shoppers
have not been spending money on "large ticket items".

Iraq weapons inspectors inspected presidential palace - were
greeted ok, found all to pass inspection.

Iraq says the list of weapons of mass destruction locations will be
ready on Saturday. United Airlines appears to be having to go into

advisor, and SEC chairperson. All are ex-CEO's of companies.
Pundits seem to see an inevitablity for the now, "defunct"
U.S.-Iraq war, to not be so defunct and to actually happen.

There is still talk of Trent Locke's stupid statement of electing a
segregrationist, in order to improve the country. Bush says use of
nuclear weapons, against rogue countries, is okay.

For November, retail sales were down from last year; regular
department stores were down the most. Hopes are for not such bad
news, for sales in December, for Christmas.

Jones average is arnd 8,500. Lott spoke, said was own mistake, but

N Korea's nuclear reactor is in news - pundits figure it would not
take long to produce material for nuclear bomb. N Korea says they
need the reactor to produce electrical power.

Bush people are attempting to persuade Eastern countries to talk
N Korea to not start up old nuclear reactor. Rumsfield says U.S.
can be at war on two fronts.
