  war, weapons inspection resolution.

other demos seem to be ok for Senate seats, tho; but republican
will be possibly elected for U.S. Senate, in Texas.

     11/ 2/02 Saturday
They are figuring that Wash D.C. snipers had several more,
previous victums. Perhaps the reporting of the election polls
percentages, will have an effect on the outcome of the election.

     11/ 3/02 Sunday
Carnihan & Talent polls are equal: 46% to 46%; but Talent will
probably win; all the pundits can predict of the election for the
House of Representatives is: `the democrats will not win control'.

     11/ 4/02 Monday
Winona Rider looks guilty of shoplifting - jury verdict, tommorow,
should be "guilty". Carnihan is out on road, campaigning.

     11/ 5/02 Tuesday
Good turnout for most elections; republicans had small edge in
polls. After 9pm: republicans probably have won control of
Senate, & perhaps added a few members to House. Good results for
the republicans are figured to be due to "homeland defence".

     11/ 6/02 Wednesday
Election returns network news shows were on 9pm->10pm. Much was
in news, concerning the big, huge republican win. Also, much was
attributed to Bush's involvment in campaigns & general popularity.

released by 11/17; is a question for the pundits.

Pundits are of the opinion that Iraq will accept the U.N.
resolution; Iraq scheduled special session of parliament.

     11/11/02 Monday
Usual Veteren's day events were in news.

     11/12/02 Tuesday
  Iraq's parliament decided to not accept the U.N. resolution;
response if up to Saddam, now. Most figure Hussein will accept
resolution, but stall, during the weapons inspections; some have
said Hussein has been stupid on occasions, & perhaps will be on
  this one.

     11/13/02 Wednesday
Iraq announced that would accept U.N. weapons inspections -
inspector team is supposed to be there next week. Dow is around

meaning OBL is still alive and kicking.

     11/15/02 Friday
Democrats figure they need some sort of policy, to challenge the
republicans - do not presently have any alternative solutions to
economic, war on terrorism, etc., problems. Republicans are saying
that terrorism war could be going on for 20 to 25 years.

     11/16/02 Saturday
Bush says war on terrorism is being successful. Greenspan says can
lower interest rates more, if `soft spot' in economy persists.

     11/17/02 Sunday
Pundits discussed upcoming Iraq weapons inspections; some asked,
hypothetically, what if no un-conventional weapons are found? If
so, then what does the U.S. do?

     11/18/02 Monday
U.N. inspectors landed in Iraq, will be a week in establishing,

stupid, when shown in TV newscasts.

     11/19/02 Tuesday
Homeland Security Dept bill passed Senate; needs only to be
verified by House - has some pork barrels included. Figure the
U.N. weapons inspectors will be in Iraq, thru all of next year.

     11/20/02 Wednesday
Bush is in Europe, in NATO talks - is promoting the Gulf War II.
The new Homeland Security Dept will need a few years to be up and
running to specs; some say it will need many revisions, mods, etc.

     11/21/02 Thursday
Stock market is some up; DOW is arnd 8,845.

     11/22/02 Friday
Bush talked to Russia's Putin, who is against possible U.S.-Iraq

inspected first; Iraq's list of areas is due on Dec 8.

     11/27/02 Wednesday
