The zip files contain what is basically needed for each of the
software packages. Each .zip file, though, needs a target
directory, in order to be expanded. And, each of the programs
will perform smoother, if all its components are in the same
directory.
So create, or have created, a new directory (folder) for each of
these packages; altho it would be possible to have one directory
for all. Then unzip the zip file into the new directory.
For the self-extracting zip's, a directory (folder) is still needed.
These `.exe' files are to be run, and extract their files into
the current directory. To solve the target directory dilemma,
move the `.exe' file to the target directory; then execute it,
using the Windows Explorer.
After the files are extracted, run any rnme.com or install.com
programs. They do some prep work on the extracted files.
To uninstall a package, simply delete the package's directory.
Any c01, `colors' text files can be deleted.
